Radio mics are always popular, as many preachers and worship leaders enjoy the freedom of wireless operation. Good quality modern radio mic systems can operate without the interference, distortion, and signal drop outs that plague older (and poorer quality) systems.

We recommend you stay away from most “budget” models of radio mic, as we have found their performance to be rather inconsistent, especially in older, more substantial buildings.

The models we tend to recommend are Sennheiser Evolution systems. These operate on UHF radio frequencies, which gives better sound quality with less chance of interference.
