One of the most important aspects of any sound system is effective communication. It is more important than any technological component. Good communication channels between the musicians, leader, technical helpers and church leadership are vital.

Understanding exactly what people mean is an important part of a technicians job. "Monitors aren't loud enough" could mean just that or it could mean they lack clarity and are have difficulty picking out the correct sound. It could mean that the set next to them are too loud or other issues.

Cheap unpredictable monitors can seriously hamper musicians ability to play as a group and can undermine even the most experienced performers. Not being able to hear yourself and the tune can often result in you singing off key - not a great way to lead singing!

We only recommend monitors that we have worked with ourselves and have seen to work in worship situations.
